X1mk3 - Insanely screwed up "FX assign button" programming is driving me nuts

I have been trying to use other buttons as modifiers, e.g. the LOW kill button, but it seems that has the same issue: long press leaves the kill value changed. My plan was to use all the mixer buttons + bottom rotary controller to change things like: jog turn (for precise positioning of start), wave zoom in/out, master volume, track gain, etc.
Are there any buttons apart from SHIFT that can be used correctly as modifier controls?

I need to try that and let you know if it could be duplicated at my side.

Any news with your tests?

Seems to work fine. Mapping issue maybe? Just use the REV button a sa Shift (modifier)

wait, what?! You managed to map the kill buttons as modifiers, and they don't change the value of the kill when you press and press another button or rotate a knob? How?!
This is what my assignment looks like for the left-low-volume button and the kill button is the same:
But every time i press it, it immediately toggles its value...so that would be a killer if the track were playing.

If you check the box Override factory map, the original command will not execute.

Yes, true, but then the kill buttons and monitor buttons don't work so I'm losing functionality I need.
I'd like to keep the kill/monitor buttons AND use the hold key function as a modifier without toggling the value, if possible...
[on another note, i have found another bug: in mode MixerA&B, when left track A is stopped, pressing the loop encoder does NOT toggle loop on/off, as it does on deck B correctly. It turns loop on but then loop stays on, never toggles off. hang on...it's working now...weird. Anyway, where do I report bugs if I am not running TR beta? Thx.]

If you disable SNAP, your loop encoder will work correctly. The problem described happens when SNAP is active and you activate a loop with the encoder while the needle is between beats and closer to the next beat than the previous beat. Although the loop will be set, the needle is technically not inside the loop (which is SNAPPED to the next beat). Therefore pressing the encoder again does not deactivate the loop but rather activates a new loop that is identical to the old loop.

Hello,

I have the Denon dj X1850. i can change the cue color to match The x1 arrows.
