I recently purchased the Maschine Mikro MK3 an have been trying to set it up for days. I installed the Maschine 2 Factory Selection and Maschine 2 Factory Library but I am not able to start Maschine 2 to start using the hardware. I have Maschine 2 in my Native Access when I used Maschine Studio in the past on my old iMac studio computer that I don't have access to anymore. I have been trying for days to start using it. Please help

Have you tried rebooting your computer after you installed Maschine 2? I had to do this on my Windows PC.

Have you tried the following? My Maschine Controller Does Not Start

I did try that several times. I installed Maschine 2 Factory Selection and Maschine 2 Factory Library then I installed Maschine 2 from Native Access. I can open up Maschine 2 but I try to play on sounds or play a kit and nothing happens in the software or the hardware. I have tried installing and reinstalling the software several times since the 6th. I am truly frustrated now and considering returning the product. I didn't have this problem launching the software when I used Maschine Studio on my previous IMac years ago. Please help

Hi, Have you already looked for it's drivers?

If you see a yellow-ish warning triangle in the Windows device manager then they are missing and you have to install them manually via Win optional driver search.

EDIT: Re-installing Maschine etc. 1000 times won't help if the MMMK3 drivers are missing.-

@Die-Hard I see you'rre already in contact with my colleagues, hopefully they can work it out.

I reinstalled Maschine 2 then Maschine 2 Factory Selection and Maschine 2 Factory Library. I also made sure the Maschine Mikro MK3 driver was updated. Now when I hit play to start a sound or music, Maschine 2 starts a sound then freezes and stops playing. Now I can hear anything and I wont starts again

Sounds to me like an issue with your audio interface. What are you using, and how is it set up?

I am just using my laptop. I have an older Scarlet 2i2 interface that I want to hook up

....and how is it (laptop audio) set up? What are the audio settings in the Maschine software?

If you've got a 2i2 then certainly give that a try too.

Can you use the Focusrite ASIO driver instead of WASAPI and the Focusrite device (= your Scarlett) instead of your onboard Realtek Audio soundcard?

This is the setting in Maschine 2

That's only your inputs. The problem is with your output (based on what you've said).

Also it's probably better not to have WASAPI in shared mode when using Maschine.

I have tried to change from WASAPI in shared mode but it freezes

    Please try the following:

     Delete the USER Registry Entry

    1. Click the Windows Start button at the bottom left side of your screen.
    2. Type "regedit" into the search field, then press Enter to open the Windows Registry Editor.
    1. In the Registry Editor, navigate the folder structure to this location:
    2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Native Instruments > Maschine 2 (Folder)
    3. Delete only the Maschine folder found here.
    4. Note: Deleting the incorrect folder could result in unexpected behavior with other applications, and possibly your operating system.
    5. Close the Registry Editor and reopen the Maschine software to check that the issue has been resolved.

Then select an ASIO driver, your Focusrite interface should have an ASIO driver.
