Stems are getting out of time when using the transport track strip

Hi I am newly using a Traktor s8, And I was under the impression from past use that if I hold down shift and run my finger to the desired point on the jog strip that when I let go it will play there. Instead what I am experiencing when using stems(4 tracks), I jog forward with shift and then it takes to where I fast forward but some of the stems are out of time with each other. If I fast forward to a point like this on my laptop in the traktor pro 3 software it jump there fine but when doing it on The controller, the stems get out of time from each other. I figure there must be a special setting or something I need to push in the preferences to fix this but unsure of which one -have any of you experienced this with a traktor controller and stems? Appreciate any shared knowledge.

Are you using the Traktor factory stems? If not, it would be great to check if the same happens with the factory ones.

I would also make sure to be using the latest Traktor 3.5.2 update available in Native Access, as well as the latest software for the S8 you can find here:
