As a passionate music composer who regularly utilizes Native Instruments plugins and software, I've had a Native Instruments keyboard on my list for a while, especially for the LED lights.

I have been composing music for over a decade, specializing in sync licensing and composing for trailers, films, and television. Across all of my projects, from fast-paced suspense cues to emotional themes, I rely extensively on Kontakt instruments and effects. I own multiple Kontakt libraries and they feature on practically every single track I produce.

Additionally, I have championed Native Instruments' software to peers and emerging composers, recently posting multiple stories highlight music I created featuring Glaze (since it's currently free). I frequently showcase Kontakt's capabilities at music conferences and workshops I lead. I also suggest NI plugins to my colleagues when advising them on essential production tools.

Receiving one of your MIDI keyboards would be immensely appreciated and used to continue elevating my contributions to creative projects. Especially as I score several upcoming independent films, the workflow and musical ideas your keyboard would unlock are exciting. My plan would be to use it when sketching themes, laying down orchestral parts with Kontakt, and experimenting with new melodic and harmonic directions. I'd also feature it on my social media posts.

Thank you for this opportunity and fingers crossed (I have my eye on the S61 🥹)

I'm tagging @Finest Things because they said they couldn't tag anyone. :)

Finest Things, feel free to edit your post and tag me. :)

It's my 70th birthday! I cannot think of a more awesome gift, since I'm still using an ancient Alesis QS 8, that seems to be on its last leg. Ha...I hope that I'm not on that last leg, and have a good amount of time to create with a new Kontrol S MK3 board. Truth is, there's not a lot of time left. Seems my gear is as old as me. Buried my trusty old Emu Drumulator, and other items from the good ole days, before any of this awesome NI tech was even a twinkle in the eye. But, I swear, keyboard gear like this will be put to beautiful use. I really do have So much more to create! Appreciate the op to be in the running! Thanks.

Don't really have friends to tag, but this is someone who replied nicely to a question I posted.

I'd like to be able to gift a keyboard to a really good friend who doesn't have one so we could bond and make music together in our free time from university. Maybe as more than friends. :)

I already have one, so the first keyboard (S61) could be the gift.

I'll tag @Monochrome randomly because they don't have one.

(Also, from a technical standpoint, MIDI 2.0 is really a nice thing to have.)

As a devoted user of Native Instruments, I've been deeply immersed in the world of music production with my Maschine MK3, Maschine Jam, and the expansive Komplete 14 Collector's Edition. These tools have not only fueled my creativity but also been a significant part of my musical journey. However, there's been one piece missing from my setup – the Komplete Kontrol Keyboard.

Balancing my passion for music with the responsibilities of being a father to three wonderful kids means making sacrifices. As much as I've dreamt of adding a Komplete Kontrol Keyboard to elevate my music production, prioritizing my children's needs has always been my number one commitment. Winning this keyboard would not just be a personal triumph; it would symbolize the harmonious blend of my dedication to my family and my passion for music.

I have long admired the intuitive design and seamless integration that the Komplete Kontrol series offers, and I'm excited about the creative possibilities it would unlock in my workflow. This isn't just about adding a new piece of gear; it's about enhancing my ability to express myself musically and continuing to grow as an artist. I believe that the Komplete Kontrol Keyboard would be a pivotal addition to my creative toolkit, helping me to further explore the depths of my musical potential.

Thank you for considering my entry. Winning this would not only be a dream come true but also a profound encouragement to keep pursuing my passion for music, even amidst the beautiful chaos of family life.

I've been in the NI Ecosystem for a long time. My S49 gen-1 is basically now out of service software-wise, I just updated to Komplete 14 Collectors and that new screen for content nav and real jog wheels would really up my production game. Pairs nice with the Maschine Mk3 sitting next to it.

I don't have any forum friends, so I'll tag @Finest Things above since he didn't have anyone to tag either.

I would like to win because I am a huge NI fan and love the Kontrol ecosystem. I currently own an A49, because that is all I could afford, but I have been able to upgrade to Komplete 14 (regular), this year. I have been currently wanting to get into learning more about MPE. Currently all my automation happens in Ableton Live, as I do not own anything that can provide me with MPE capability. I am also interested in getting to know polyphonic aftertouch. So many cool features. I hope someday, I am able to afford an S series. Good luck everyone. @sanjaycmusic let's get it going y'all

I'd like to win one of these keyboards to be able to take advantage of the Komplete kontrol system. I have most everything else by NI software related, but no hardware to use KK in conjunction with.

I would like to win one because I really been wanting to upgrade my M32 keyboard but I haven’t be able to. I would pass down the M32 to my niece.

Since this is a straight up question, I think it is better to answer in the most straight up way: Because I want one and I am not going to buy one, since I already have other controllers :)

Does it matter if I am a long time user or not? If it does matter, I bought my first NI product about 10 years ago with Guitar rig; then it was a MK2 version of Maschine; then I got a M32, Maschine Jam, MK3 Mikro and Komplete 11 and 13 plus some extras here and there as expansion packs and software. I believe you don't need me to tell you what I bought, as you can see what I bought in my account :D

I don't really "need" one; but do I want one? Absolutely yes, as this is the first time you make a device I can actually use not only with your first party VST but also as midi controller for other 3rd party VSTs and software, without the need to be supported directly by NKS. What has always been a problem for me that made me pick other devices, was the lack of support as generic controller... So I am glad that you are going in the right direction with this new device. Now if we could have also faders and extra controls that can be programmed... A person can dream? :)

As I do not have any contact on the forum, since I never come here except for reading posts (joined in 2009 as you can see, never posted), I just nominate https://community.native-instruments.com/profile/DJZube; Not because I know this user directly but because you have to acknowledge the first one to post in any raffle; so I think that for dedication you deserve to win, no matter if you need it or not. Best of luck!

I want to win a keyboard because A) They look super cool, B) I love NI products and would love a keyboard that integrates so perfectly with my software, and C) Who doesn't love cool stuff? :) I tag @PoorFellow because he was super cool recently about offering a ton of great advice about Virtual Machines regarding a Kontakt 2 issue I had. :)

Why do I want to win the Native Instruments MIDI keyboard? Simple: so my current keyboard can finally fulfil its dream of becoming a quirky coffee table! 😎😁

Tagging @nightjar as I find their posts really insightful.

    Why I'd love a Kontrol S-Series MK3? 3 Reasons - 1 per MK:

    1. Now that I'm retired, funds for future musical hardware are very, very limited. Even more so since recently dipping into those savings to help my son with his financial difficulties.
    2. Making music will be one of my main activities as a retiree (next to household chores and some naps). One of these keyboards would be a magnificent upgrade from my current M32 and go a long way to postponing senility.
    3. In all of my 69 years, I have only ever won $25.00 in a bingo and $16.00 in a lottery ticket gift. This would break that pathetic loosing streak in the most epic way.

Tagging derny69 being another Canadian in the Community (we need these wins to keep us warm!)

Thanks so much for this opportunity and good luck to everyone!
