I want to delete the Dropbox folder on my iMac

All my Instruments and samples are on an external hard drive on my iMac and it's also backed up in Dropbox. Could someone please tell me if I wanted to delete my Dropbox folder on my iMac, would I still have access to all my sounds? Thank you for any advice you can give me.

    Hmm...

    I would recommend doing this experiment:

    First, copy all of the plugins from drop box to the desktop folder( create that folder)

    Then delete all of the plugins from dropbox.

    Now, if it works, delete the plugins from a desktop folder as well, since you have the plugins from an external memory.

    If it doesn't, bring back the copypasted plugins from a desktop folder back to the dropbox.
