I do have the DAW controls configured to Kontrol... I'm not sure if I did the midi, as I as the midi is playing seamlessly.. I will check that as an extra measure!

    Thanks

Sadly I had the same issues, on windows, and got told a ton of things to try... sent back after 3 days for a refund. I can't be arsing about, even took a day off work to try the fixes. My first venture into the N I world - on paper ticks all the boxes. Between crashes and freezes the next biggest issue was the load times between sounds- 1 to 5 minutes. So so disappointed. Such a big investment for me and a big decision.

    Hello everyone!

I'm experiencing issues with my new mk3 on 2 different computers..

It doesn't work with my Big Sur..

With Logic Pro X, Monterey and Kontakt 7, I have tons of CPU spikes even with an empty track with one Kontakt instrument open.

It's impossible to work in a full project with all cpu spikes and pops noise all time :/

Any idea or help would be appreciated!

Crossing fingers.. I love the new mk3 but we have too much problems installing and using it right now.

    Thanks!

Big Sur isn't supported, the MK3 needs Ventura according to the product page. No idea about the CPU spikes etc. Do you get the spikes even without the MK3 connected?

First thing would be to make sure you are using latest version of Kontakt...7.7.1

There were some CPU usage issues with some prior Kontakt versions.

And within Logic Pro 10.8, you will experience some issue with double MIDI notes when using Komplete Kontrol... Using Kontakt 7.7.1 direct with your S-Mk3 should be OK however.

Edit: and as @mykejb has stated, you should be using at least macOS Ventura (macOS 13) with an S-Mk3 keyboard. This is stated on the product page. Whether you can "get away" with using Monterey I don't know.
