A difference between MK3 and MK2 is with the MK3, you are unable to directly select a track. You need to use the jog wheel to scroll through each track on a page. On the MK2, you can quickly select a track with a button tap. Instead, the MK3 uses the button to quickly mute a track.

Other than that, it looks to be similar. The integration on the MK2 has been really nice. Metronome. Stop/Start/Rec. Undo. Quantize. Volume/Mute/Solo.

Same as the current model, it works just as expected allowing track navigation, control of any track with an instance of KK or Kontakt and allows for transport and mixer control. Watch any YT video on the current MK2 and that will be the same as for the MK3

AFAIK, it will be a bit better than MK2 in that aspect, you should check the AMA !
