Fables w/Komplete 14 Collector's Edition

Hi,

I own Komplete 14 Collector's Edition and am interested in purchasing Fables - it says the upgrade price for Fables is 99EUR but only if you already own/use Lores (which I do, since it's included in Collector's). Working through the offer it says I do not qualify for cheaper pricing.

Does this mean I can add the product to my cart using the upgrade price? I'm a bit confused so would be grateful if anyone can help explain.

There was an issue on the website and it has now been fixed. If you are an owner of K14 CE, you can upgrade to Fables via the Fables Upgrade.

Hard to say, but I guess one has to have standalone version of Lores.

The best is to open ticket at NI Support and ask. Or if it still works ask using Live Chat.

I was just about to create a ticket with the same question, then I found this thread... Pesimistically I'd expect a reply from NI in line with @Kubrak's suggestion, let's see how things turn out :)

The problem is not the message on the website: some users are reporting that once Fables get bought, Native Access doesn’t register it saying the base product is missing

I can confirm that it is not allowing Collector's Edition owners to register or use Fables beyond demo mode. I purchased yesterday and haven't heard a solution to this problem, so I would suggest waiting before you buy.

This is weird, I just purchased about two hours ago - it automatically showed up in Native Access and installed without issues. Seems I can use it without problems - unless I don't know how to spot whether it's in demo mode or not...

Yeah mine literally had the word "Demo" in purple beside it in my Native Access account and when I loaded it in Kontakt 7 it had "Demo" beside the preset name. Also, when I tried to enter the serial number to register it, I was told that I don't have the right base product (i.e. Lores) to register it. I will check it again when I get home here in about 30 minutes, but everything I tried wouldn't work.

I cannot post links but I found this when I Googled 'native instruments demo mode' - on my page it was the first link in the results going directly to NI's website, explaining why some products are showing Demo mode and what to do to fix it.

Thanks a bunch @LostInFoundation and @antinode. The 2nd option did the trick and all is working now with demo removed from everything and Fables has been added to my serials. Appreciated all your help!
