    Ok.. all done now!..

So what did I do.. I had to look up the app I wanted to update. - then use a script to remove it from the reg. then use a windows tool to remove it from the install programs list, - rename the folder for NI (app name) refresh the native access. - and it would send the app to the "Available" section.

From here I can just install it like it was new. - all good!.

    Delete the old renamed folders..

    Back to work!>

    What a hassle though...

Yes , and that is why you use backup , backup. and more backup, always be sure to be able to undo prior to any tinkering !

Sorry I can not keep trying to help someone that clearly knows better than me and have a hard time taking any advice !

Just to back up what @Monochrome said - please NEVER use programs such as CCcleaner.

Such products can cause havoc as they are often very trigger happy about which files they deem to be "unnecessary". This can lead to all sorts of installation, activation and usage issues.

Microsoft will not offer any support to users which use such tools, due to how dangerous they can be for your system: Notes on Using Registry or Property List Cleaning Utilities

Why doesn't NI combine Native Access and the NI Uninstall RegTool into one program so we don't have to keep using this tool just to update programs.

19 updates and I had to use the Uninstall tool on all of them? Months ago when I updated, same thing.
