    Hey Chris! Two instruments may match what you're looking for:

    The first one is a Kontakt-based Play series instrument called "Ethereal Earth". It allows you to mix'n'match two different layers per preset and gives you a huge library of epic pad sounds to work with. Another instrument which is included in Komplete Start is called "Space Drone". It's based on Reaktor and is definitely a gem when it comes to sound scapes and atmospheres. They both should bring you pretty close to the demo you shared🎹

    While you are here I would like to ask you something I can't wrap my head around.

    Maschine:

    Is it possible to somehow have a loop running freely so it runs completely out of phase with patterns or scenes? I am thinking of how you would have several tape loops run out of phase. Some hardware loopers like the RC-50, iirc, could do that, too.

    I love when there's sounds which do not restart on the start of patterns or scenes, but apart from setting something up in Reaktor, I can't figure out if it's possible in Maschine

    P.S. also, lemme take the chance to thank you for your amazingly brilliant and helpful content over the years! Hope there's a lot more to come from you!

    Hi @Boris_NI - as much as I like the workflow in maschine regarding EQ - helps one to listen more than look at sound, I'm struggling at mixing level. is there a tool that allows one to see where exactly instruments are sitting in the sound space. a good spectrometer(something like EQ8 in Ableton )and also in which Komplete can one find that tool

    I'm planing on upgrading to Komplete Standard

    2 things.


    • Smart integration of customized upgrades based on NI, Bx, PA, iZotope products owned. Next year?
    • Will the Machine software ever be available to owners of K1x Ultimate who don't own Maschine? (I seriously don't have the desks-space and hate pad controllers. My KK S61 is great) I kind of feel I'm getting a ****** deal not having the unified production software to use all of these Expansions in. Scrolling through hundreds of Battery kits to figure out which one was from a Maschine library based on Tropical House/Reggaeton/Dirty South has been a major chore.

    Yesterday I bought Komplete 14 Standard, but in Access it´s missing BX_Crispytuner, BX_Oberhausen and LO-FI-AF. What´s wrong here?

    I just started learning and creating music due to my partner buying me a Nektar Impact49+ in early May. I took to it so much (seriously, nothing gives me as much joy as creating new sounds), I got stuck in with the NI Summer of Sound sale. I got a M32 to have a controller I can take with me on trips and couldn't be happier with it coming with Komplete 14 Select! I plan on upgrading to Standard the moment my credit card balance resets at the start of July.

    I also got Thrill and Ashlight. They've been mainstays in my production flow since I got them. I seriously picked a wonderful time to get into the world of audio production it seems.


    My only question is: Do these sorts of sales happen annually?

    @dolorem The Summer of Sound sale happens annually. There may be additional sales like Cyber Season (around November).

    I'm not sure if anyone else is aware but I got an extra discount on Kontakt 7 because I had previously downloaded free software from Heavyocity, which is awesome if you haven't checked them out.

    Thanks a ton for the clarification, and for the K14 info! I'll be upgrading to Standard the day before the sale ends due to my cc resetting then. Very good to know that we will need to use the PA downloader for their products. Cheers!
