I think being able to 'link' or 'nest' or have nested playlists in tracks is like a curated permanent history and yet it just doesn't exist in any software that I know of. It seems more important than having smart or dynamic playlists and is probably easier to implement but it doesn't push you to buy featured tracks so I guess it serves no one but the end user.

I think you're wrong here. A feature to link two tracks does exist in Rekordbox.

The midi sync interface needs a complete overhaul. I believe it used to work better before they added Ableton link which broke the traditional midi sync, both external and internal, either via usb midi or din

You are right and I fully agree with your opinion. i have been a traktor user since 2010. 13 years of evenings and events with traktor. i knew every single function but i finally gave up on it, i switched to djay pro because it is seamlessly integrated with the Rane hardware. with traktor it is practically impossible to make advanced maps for a normal person and even managing to make a mapping there would be many compatibility problems. sorry to see that virtual dj and djay pro have surpassed traktor. for me serato is the worst program of this era and yet it is the most famous because it is integrated with wonderful hardware. traktor it's time to do full integrations. or to produce new competitive hardware. The whole community has been clamoring for a new Z2 and it never came.

just sort one column as normal and then sort the next one with holding command (cmd) on your keyboard.

I'm tired of people making unreasonable requests.
Just request the bare minimum, otherwise nothing gets done.
The MIDI bare minimum is more modifiers.
and eventually more conditions and more bits per modifier

this did work fine in the past. so technically its a regression / bug. likely system performance related caused by additional features. So it shouldnt be considered a change. Just getting the feature set to parity of the past.

What's the point in having all these fancy MIDI features if the analogue gear that some are trying to control via MIDI can't stay in time? 🙃

The original comment wasn't related to mapping a MIDI controller, it was to do with MIDI clock and sync which is an entirely different area.

Guys, and still is the waveform not smooth scrolling and is the browser flickering?

Hi, I've had an idea to be able to use an iPad or second screen to show/house the parallel wave forms. This option would free up valuable screen space on a laptop, especially when using all 4 decks
