#3 here was something I was hoping for with the x1 mk3. The whole soft takeover but never really works out intuitively. :-/

4x4 endless encoders with several functional levels for whatever you want, with a ring of differently coloured LED's that indicate the control's position, depending on which function it controls.
It's on my got-to-get-one list.

Implement a preference option for Quantize Size in Traktor Pro 2, like Traktor DJ 2.
I have been mixing with Traktor Pro 3, and it's impossible for me to press the CUE points on the two decks and control the EQ simultaneously... I would need another pair of hands!
BUT Traktor DJ 2, because it allows you to set up the Quantize length to 1 Bar instead of 1 Beat, gives you a few seconds to engage the CUE points in advance.

I would like it the other way round: A global quantize to 1/2, 1/4,.. beats (like in remix decks).

I have two. There’s a few bugs that need to be worked out (paging doesn’t always work, encoder resolution is currently too high, leds sometimes don’t update status when changing parameter on the software, etcetera) per DJTT support, the dev no longer works for DJTT and they don’t have an eta for fixes. I’ve dug into the firmware and fixed a couple things on my own (like colors not working correctly), but just grew tired of the whole diy nature of a prebuilt product and tossed em in a box.

Tell me, what's the firmware look like and how accessible is it? I heard all about the missing troubleshooter and was going to have a look inside once i got some 'above livelihood'-cash together?

The Loop Recorder could be useful here.
-Record 4 beat loop. And play it.
-Output that loop position, create two different output commands for each quant size. Then duplicate each command three times because you will need a setup for each beat of the 1 bar loop.
When Cue button is pressed, signal is sent to "enable" the Loop Recorder output and it will yhen pass trough only when the values are set previously. That signal can be then outputted and routed back into Traktor to midi assign it to a hotcue.

I requested this many years ago (in the now lost old forum), and it got some up votes but obviously not enough! The iPad version of Traktor allowed lower than 1/1 quantize so they obviously know how to implement it ...

Yes! Exactly, would be so great to add the current quantize options of the Remix decks to the Track decks or as a global setting, and also include 1 Bar or more options.
If they considered it worthy when designing Traktor DJ 2 for iPad is because is so useful. Please add this option to TP3!

wake up son the whole world is run on commodity's if you want to make money in the industry you must be able to sell concerts and tickets in. the game is shifting from making streaming money. ive worked with many artist's and any smart ones i know realize spotify does alot more then you think with advertising your product thats why splits are lower. If you took time to understand the business side of creativity you would be making more money

Dear native instruments.
I would like a traktor app on my iPhone.
Connected to my personal collection.
So i can listen on the go and make playlists , cuepoints, colors , add taggs and whatever else needed.
I will not use it to dj .
