Intrigued by the term Classified as NOISE!!

I returned to this forum after a while. Now I am being classified as NOISE??

What does that mean?

    Hey @Blissmusic glad that you join the new NI forum! Noise is the first of the 6 ranks we have here. Hope you don't feel offended by the term Noise - it's just a fun little name for recent joiners before they level up to all the waveforms. 😄

    Thanks Kaiwan. Fun and Humor are always Welcome. Though I suspected some thing like that, I was not sure whether it was a WORD or an ACRONYM.

    Any way as I said I was quite active here 3 years ago...

    The only thing I am not happy with is that "Noise" isn't the highest rank, lol. I am quite fond of noise, you know. A sine OTOH seems to me to be the most basic and boring of all signals, :))

    Fun fact. We used to have Square as one of the ranks. But one of the teammates pointed out that people probably don't wanna have a word that means lame next to their name, so we dropped it. 😬
