Getting third party multi-sampled instruments into the Maschine sample zones

Deselecting All Sections
I am trying to deselect all sections in Song View (so that Follow mode will work). It's easy to do in the software by mouse-clicking in the background of the timeline panel but I can't seem to find a way to do it from the MK3 hardware? Any ideas?
