Hi all,

I have contacted NI support over two weeks ago about this and have had no response, which is very disappointing. I am about to buy Thrill and Kontakt 7 full version. I have been offered a Kontakt 7 Bundle Crossgrade as I already have a certain product. All I need to know, before I make the purchase. Is this bundle crossgrade, the FULL version of Kontakt 7? I have been using Kontakt player for three years now and finally decided to make the switch to the Full Version of Kontakt 7, but don't want to buy the wrong product.

Thanks.

There is only one version of Kontakt 7. It is simply offered to customers at a variety of price points dependant on your specific historical licensing situation.

Full (You have never owned Kontakt before in any way) = Full Version.

Crossgrade (You qualify in some way to get Kontakt cheaper than a new user) = Full Version.

Update (You owned a previous (qualifying) "full" version of Kontakt sometime in the past) = Full Version.

    Player Version = Player Version.

    Nuff said.

Do you read the message by NI at the top of Support?

I did read that, but come on two weeks, that's crazy. The sale will be over before I get a reply at that rate!

Thank you for a clear answer. I thought it was the full version I was being offered, but I didn't want to spend a chunk of change like that only to find I was wrong. I have had to save this money to get these two products, so I didn't want to waste half of the money. Thank you, I can happily go spend my money now.

That's awesome news and glad my question helped you also. I found the same I was prepared to pay for Kontakt 7 at 50% off, but got a further $70 CDN off with the crossgrade, it's awesome. Well done you.

    Hi,

I also need help with this.

I ordered the Kontakt 7 Bundle Crossgrade earlier today and paid €199.00 as I wanted the full version of Kontakt 7, but then I noticed in Native access that I only got some instruments for the Kontakt 7 player (analog dreams, etheral dreams etc). So no Full version of Kontakt 7.

I thought I must have read wrong earlier and went to my "Offers" again and saw that I have to pay €299.00 to

get Kontakt 7 Bundle so I did the payment for the upgrade. But I can´t see anything extra in products in my Native Access and not evan a full version of Kontakt 7.

So did I just pay €199.00 for below products? And a extra €299.00 for same thing? :/

I recently purchased the Kontakt 7 Bundle ,as it was offered as the best choice for me .when looking to buy the full version of Kontakt. I got it only to find it is a few libraries and only has the Player version. This is very bad and confusing marketing when one is just trying to buy a certain product with the same name. Kontakt Bundle 7 ,doesn`t say Player. Beware ! It is not the full version.

I have contacted them about this and wait to hear what they have to say.

If you paid something like 199.00 - it's the full version.

You also need to ensure that your Native Access is up to date - and I mean right up to date. And you cannot be using Native Access V1 and expect to see Kontakt 7 - you will not.

Had a bunch of folks complaining about this a few months back - NOT seeing the full version of K7 - due to ongoing issues with NA2.

If you are on 3.5.x as of right now - all should be fine.

I see my full version of K7 just fine. Check versions and then report back here.

Yes I paid £179.00 for the Kontakt 7 Bundle when I was directed to this when looking for the Full Kontakt version. I have tried to download the latest version of Native Access but the he download said Native Access 2. I can`t find anything newer.

Native access shows Kontakt6 Player, Kontakt 7 Player and Kontakt Factory Library 2 ,which is the product I bought thinking it is the full version . This is what I was directed to when looking to buy the Full version.

So what happens now VP? You say that I should now own the full version when I bought this Factory Library. Have you got a link to the latest version of Native Access.

Wait to hear , Regards John

Can you show me the link you used or blurb for this Kontakt 7 Bundle? If you paid 179 pounds for this - it is most certainly NOT just K7 Player.

And - yes - the Native Access version numbering is a complete disaster - no thanks to NI. The branded "versioning" of the Native Access application = Native Access 2.

But the actual software version of this POORLY named product - is actually 3.x

The most recent version is 3.52 which was available to me this past weekend. You need to ensure that Native Access is updated to 3.52 and then look into the reasons why Kontakt 7 is not showing.

To really ensure you are solid - would be better to first login to your NI account via web browser and confirm with 100% certainty that your new Kontakt Bundle actually shows up in your registered product listing.

If you do not see that purchase listed there - you will never see it in Native Access - regardless which version is installed.

Something feels out of sync here - either the product is not registered to you (yet) or Native Access is not current. Or both.

Check all of this out and post back.
