It is my first purchase in NI, second-hand, I have not contacted the seller. Serial Okay but I need the license transfer, I just read that this has happened to many here, especially due to inexperience, this time it was me, I already have the request ticket. I will be grateful for any help, guidance, or solution.

The problem is that the request must be done by previous owner who has the device registered under his account, not by you.

In this way NI will remove the license from his account and give him a new serial to forward to you in order to register it under your account

Well…I see it in another way…it’s the seller who hasn’t done what he was supposed to.

How could you know before having the product (and being it your first purchase of a NI one) what must be done?

Not everybody before owning something researches all the caveats without having a clue on what must be done 😉

In any case, being this now the situation, the only thing you can do (if you can’t contact the seller) is wait for Support to answer the ticket, hope they will understand the situation and that they will be willing to help you. They could ask for a proof that the device is in your hands and for the serial printed under it (with a photo). They did this in the past, hope you will be lucky too.

If you CAN contact the seller, tell him that he has no reason to keep the device registered under his account: in any case NI is so generous to give the bundled softwares to the new user but ALSO leave them to the previous one

Yes, I'll be waiting for the support team to review my ticket, I've sent messages to the seller but maybe he never responds,

Well. Not always Transfer Licence Code is needed/available.

I can name two cases, maybe there are even more:

    1) User did not use the licence at all. For example did not register HW at NI.

    2) User decided to transfer registered licence within three (I guess) months since registration. In that case NI releases Licence Code so that it may be reused. No Transfer Licence Code is issued in that case.

Have you tried to use the Licence Code? If it is accepted in Native Access, everything is just fine.

thanks kubrak, do you mean serial number? What do you mean by license code? I am gradually understanding the NI sales and product system

Sorry, yes Serial Number. It may be OK if seller gives you Serial Number, in certain cases I have mentioned previously. But mostly one receives Transfer Code.
