Does owning Symphony Essentials qualify you for a discount for Symphony Series?

Hello.

I recently purchased Symphony Essentials, to try out first before committing to the heftier Symphony Series. I was offered a crossgrade for $299 for Symphony Essentials, which I bought, but now I want to know if this sum goes towards Symphony Series, which has a crossgrade of $599.

Having spent $299 on Essentials, is that purchase something that goes toward Symphony Series — so instead of paying $599, I would pay only $299 to "upgrade" Symphony Essentials to Series?
