# Bpm

I use the pitch scale Traktor pro 3 and Traktor DJ 2 0.7% which gives 145bpms, 1.4 which gives 146bpms, but when I pass the 150bpms the scale of 0.7% gives 151.01 not being right. There is something I can do?

The answer is to be found in how many digits the real number is defined to show.

If it is set to show 1 position after the decimal point, this is what you get:

• 145 bpm * 1.007 (+0.7%) = 146.015 bpm (round to 146 bpm)
• 145 bpm * 1.014 (+1.4%) = 147.03 bpm (round to 147 bpm)
• 145 bpm * 1.021 (+2.1%) = 148.045 bpm (round to 148 bpm)
• 145 bpm * 1.028 (+2.8%) = 149.06 bpm (round to 149.1 bpm)
• 145 bpm * 1.035 (+3.5%) = 150.075 bpm (round to 150.1 bpm)

In every instance, the true value of the number is not an integer.

I use 0.0% this gives 145bpm, 0.7% this gives 146bpm, 1.4% this gives 147bpm. When the pitch exceeds 150 bpm, it is not right, using the 7% pitch scale.
