No sound out of audio player when opeing a loop or sound.

When i scroll through the sounds i can hear them, but as soon as i double click on a sound to open it in the player, i cant get the sound to play. I tried in my DAW and in stand alone mode. I am using a windows keyboard and mouse. Nothing i have tried will get the sound to play.
