https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/effects/rc-24/ have you watched this? I don't have time right now but later that day again. I saw, that you can create your own user patterns.

I don't understand - RC-24 is a reverb effect - nothing to do with Action Strings and creating phrases

Sorry wrong link - it hasn't copied the one I wanted https://youtu.be/8EBAZsKNtJ4

https://youtu.be/vjCF4y-mJLY. This could also be interesting and jeff gibbons also has a good yt channel and I'm sure he also covered action strings

Thanks, I’ve seen these and I’ve also read through the documentation. It still seems to be the case that I can select “modules”, string them together, etc, but there does not seem to be a way to create one’s own modules,

Then you have to create a single note phrase or more, and play it all yourself - but as mentioned in the native video, it's always a tradeoff of some kind with complex scores and sampled instruments.

Give an example of what you would like to be able to be able to do that you can't do in the phrase and rhythm animators.

Well, to give a completely trivial example, change the first entry in this phrase up by 3 semitones and change the fourth entry down by 5 more semitones. Perhaps insert another note after the second one. (I am aware that they're not notes, they're just describing the relative change of whatever you play)
In other words, create my own phrase!

Are you using a single instrument like a Violin? Because it doesn't sound like you have access to the rhythm animator or phrase animator which you only get from the Ensemble and access it through the Velocity drop down. With single instruments you can't access that. Those are the tools you need to do what you're describing

I guess you missed the part where the OP recognized that he made a mistake and was referring to Action Strings? 🙂

Yeah, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way for me to edit my original post otherwise I would have corrected my mistake.

Like i said, try to enter a single short note into the animator and play the notes you want via midi. BTW i have changed the title.

So i played around a bit and like i said, if you use a single note, for your example a trill note and play the notes downward thing in your daw, set the notes as you want, it sounds pretty similar (to me) but with your own notes.

I’m not sure I understand. First of all, I want to be able to do this with chords, not with single notes. Secondly, I’m not using a DAW, I want to do this using a live performance plugin host (Gig Performer)
