Recording Battery 4 drums using keyboard

Gday All.


A neewbie question here I'm sure but before I buy Battery 4, I was wondering if you can record any patterns you make using the kits, by using keyboard drumming? I use Cubase 11 and I find nothing more inspiration sapping than drawing MIDI notes to get beats. I am a drummer by trade and I find it much better to drum out the beat using my keyboard. Can this then be recorded on my DAW as I play in realtime?

    Battery 4 samples are triggered with MIDI notes, so you can definitely use any keyboard to play your drums.

    Thanks mate! will my DAW (Cubase) be able to record the triggered notes as I play Them?
