My keyboard KOMPLETE KONTROL S88 MK1 won't turn on. There is no physical damage, but the device does not turn on, and is not recognized when connected to a computer via USB. Can I find somewhere a schematic of a device to attempt a repair?
@Vladimir2005 In any case feel free to contact our hardware service: https://bit.ly/NISupport_Hardware
Hello,
do you have the power supply conected too?
Good morning,
Oh sure. When turned on - no signs of life.
Can you test the power supply with a voltmeter?
Yes, power is ok. The current consumption when the "on" button is pressed is 50mA.
P/S is probably dead then, often they will show voltage but output no current when they die, or volts drop. Since the MK1 does not power from USB I’d say you need a new P/S
Alas, the power supply has nothing to do with it. I have a laboratory power supply, which actually measures the current consumption of the device.
ok, dead then.
Maybe the power regulator inside near the USB port. I have repaired a S49 MK1 once and checked the power regultaor. The output has to be a bit less than 5 volts.
If I had a schematic, I could diagnose the main board
@Vladimir2005 Then maybe you can try and ask my colleagues.
