I get RED X icon when it ry to open Standalone Kontakt

    I had this same error message. In my case the default WIndow user documents folder wasn't there. After re-creating that folder things started running again. e.g. C:\User\Name\OneDrive\Documents

    Thanks, Titch it was not my case. I finally had to format C drive
