getting control of Metaphysical Function

I’m composing a new piece of music in Ableton Live that focuses on a few rather strange sounding bird calls modulated into chords using Melodyne. I’m now searching through the Reaktor library, hoping either to find or create 3 or 4 ambient pads to play behind these shredded calls. My favorite ensemble so far has been Metaphysical Function. I’ve figured out how to modulate a few of the presets, but I’m also finding that changes made in one preset don’t necessarily act the same way in another preset. I spent several hours one day fiddling with the dials, wading through all the presets, but came away feeling I am missing something crucial to programming this instrument. For just one example, I figured out how to hear my own .wav files and samples when loaded into some of the presets, but when I try turning the same dials in other presets, nothing happens

Is there a manual for MF? If so, so, please post the link. Is there a link on NI for presets not already bundled inside the instrument? Is there a way to void the presets entirely, because I really want to start the instrument from silence? In general, I’d also like to hear from others users who actually feel competent programming this beauty.

I foregot one other thing. I have watched the tutorial in Youtube, but it’s not really helpful to the current MF. I have also found a manual. But I would really like to hear from competent users.

Brent Kallmer did quite some useful tutorials for some of the factory-ensembles. Unfortunately he has stopped his Reaktor-activity about 10 years ago and Bluewatervst was switched off.

That really helps me. So much better than the stuff I’ve seen on Youtube, where the “teachers” speak and click way too fast so it’s extremely difficult just to keep up with them. Thanks for posting this. You would think NI would totally honor a guy like that for teaching users how to get beyond the random push and pull of dials and toggles in these very complicated Reaktor ensembles. I would have loved to see the rest of his lesson about how it gets a .wav file involved. Now I’m curious if he also recorded a lesson for the Massive sampler ensemble?
