Converting the parameter movement from the Modifier into an automation lane for a DAW

While I was experimenting further with the Modifiers in GR7 (which are fantastic, 10/10), a thought popped up inside my head…about converting the movements from the Modifiers into the automation lanes for a Digital Audio Workstation.

Is it somewhere in the settings of GR7? And if not, will it be a new feature?

    Hello,

that would be nice to have but I doubt that native will implement such thing, giving out that data as midi. And more daws get stuff like this, like cubase has with the latest version, ableton has max4live, bitwig has this functionality from start on and I'm pretty sure reaper can do that too with some scripts. Maybe you could do something like that with reaktor but I'm not sure (internally within reaktor it will work of course). Ohh and melda plugins has modifiers like this from envelope follower, lfo, envelopes and so on.

Thanks @Uwe303 ! However, is there a feature like that for Cakewalk?

Not to my knowledge, maybe ask in the cakewalk forum.
