I'd like the Track Collection tab to not open automatically

Hello,
When I browse my playlists or move a song from one playlist to another, it often open the Track Collection tab!
I'd like the Track Collection tab to not open automatically. Always off.
Is this possible?

    You mean the collection browser will get bigger when you move up or down in the playlist?

    What controller are you using? I think that is a setting under the specific controller. For example the x1 has it.

    The problem also exists when I prepare my playlists without a controller being connected. it doesn't do it all the time.When the track collection opens you can see the "release" folders artist, label etc..... I don't want the track collection to be deployed without me asking it. Thank you for your interest.

    There are not options in preferences to adjust the behaviour of the library file/folder tree. It does what it does unless/until NI coders get tasked to finally overhaul the ancient library. So far there have only been modifications to it when a new feature was included, but nothing significant has changed.

    We've all been hoping to get a dedicated library update for years, and it was announced at one time far in the past. NI has since scrapped any kind of quarterly update announcements, presumably to not get users' hopes up and reduce the number of propositions and complaints. I may be wrong with my assessment in this regard, so don't assume this is fact.

    • Thank you for your response. That's exactly what I thought. It is obvious that this library needs to be redesigned.
    • Little additional question I sort my columns with the "command" key on mac, can we sort 3 columns with another key combination?

    Sorting by 2 columns is the max. It was added sometime in the late TP3 era.
