new libraries not available
I bought Komplete 12, (with kontakt 6) some years ago . Today I updated Kontakt hoping to be able to use some of the libraries (Analog Dreams, Deep Matter, Lucid Mission, Molten Veil) but they don't seem to appear in Kontakt. I notice my Kontakt 8 says "Kontakt Player",…. do I not get a full version when I update via Native Access?
Do these libraries only play in the full version?

The Player version of Kontakt 8 should be able to use all licensed (N.I.) Kontakt libraries (e.g. Analog Dreams), .
However then expansions such as e.g. "Deep Matter" will not show as a Kontakt library since it is not a Kontakt library , it will only show in Kontakt 8 under sections Loops and One-Shots.
Kontakt 8 should show Analog Dreams. Have you updated Native Access also to latest version ? : latest version of Native Access for your OS .
Else try reinitialize the KONTAKT Database

If you have/had Komplete 12 - with Kontakt 6 - there is no concept of "updating" Kontakt from 6 to 8 ("full" version) - without actually purchasing it. You would need to buy Kontakt 8 Full somewhere along the line.
But as PoorFellow mentions - ALL "in house" NI Kontakt instruments - will play just fine within K8 Player.
