Reloading sounds after away periods

in Komplete General

When using my Native Instruments sounds, either through my DAW (Logic) or the dedicated Komplete Kontrol or Kontakt 8 apps, if I have a break for a few moments, the sounds appear to need reloading?

To make it clearer; I'm playing and everything sounds great, I take a break for a minute or two, come back I play and the sound won't play properly for a few seconds, before working as normal.

When I'm at home and trying to record/rehearse, that's fine and it doesn't bother me. However, I'm trying to use my Native sounds for live uses and if I don't play for a few moments and then I have to use it, it can be very problematic.

Any advice?

    What do you mean by a few moments? Minutes, hours? What are yor settings for power? Please check in your system preferences → Power or Battery, Is the Prevent Automatic sleeping on power adapter when the display is off ticked or unticked? What about the Put hard disks to sleep when possible, if you set it to never, does that improve the situation?

    Do Logic and Kontakt and your other audio apps all have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

    Thanks for your reply! It's hard to tell how long, but I guess minutes, sometimes less. I've tried those sleep settings, including the put hard disks to sleep and that hasn't fixed the issue.

    Kontakt and all other audio related apps have full disk access.

    I'm running MacOS Ventura 13.6.6.

    I made a quick screen recording, hopefully you'll hear it cutting out before playing 'smoothly'.

    Can you try the following? How Can I Optimize the Performance of Kontakt?

    Please also share a screenshot of the preferences/options of Kontakt for Engine and Loading?

    I've gone through the How Can I Optimize the Performance of Kontakt? and I've done everything that I could/understood, the memory server section didn't quite make sense to me and I didn't have all the options on that menu available to me. Not sure if that's relevant at all?

    My engine and loading screens were identical to yours (although the volume default was different and I actually prefer it on 0, so thank you for that!):

    I should say, I primarily use Komplete Kontrol due to me owning an S61, but the issue is across Kontakt 8 and Komplete Kontrol.
