I paid over $1200 for your apps but they are impossible to install.

Rather than just ranting, why don't you actually try using the direct downloads?

If you can download those without issue, then at least that goes some way towards proving your point about NA. If they also fail, then the issue is not with NA.

I confirm that they are downloaded and installed via a direct link. I downloaded and installed the latest version of Maschine 3.
But this links' list doesn't have the latest libraries and extensions for Maschine, that is, everything for which I bought the upgrade to KOMPLETE 15 COLLECTORS EDITION.
Also, many libraries there are not the latest versions.
And I would be quite happy if NI provided me with direct links to download all these libraries and extensions.
I paid for everything. Why should I agree to two-thirds?
Well, for me, NI can no longer be a company whose products I can safely use at concerts.
In addition, this already happened about a year and a half ago, when I couldn't access NA at all. The spinner was spinning and there was a message something like Loading products. Then, however, they fixed it.

To clarify what I mean: I have 48 notinstalled extensions that I got with the latest upgrade. And I can't install any of them because none of them are in the list of direct links that you so persistently refer to.

Likely due to the number of issues now appearing with either downloads via Native Access or just version issues and the need to roll back. The overall quality of everything is really starting to fall off. There has definitely been a shift in how NI do things over the last 5 years, and it is not with a focus on users that's for sure.

So i'd like to believe they added it due to user requests, but it is likely due to the failing of the current products and a need to allow previous downloads easier.

Actually, the number of issues with Native Access, also the number of support requests for Native Access has been going down significantly since a few months already. That does not mean there are no issues, this one in particular is a sticky one and the Native Access team is working hard on finding the cause and solution for this. Please keep in mind that it affects only a fraction of the hundreds of thousand users. Again, that doesn't mean we are not looking into it.

I understand that some decisions that were made for certain products were not to your liking but this constant negativity for any topic makes you sound like a broken record and dilutes the validity of some of your comments.

Your team didn't offer a working solution to my problem.

Most people just give up which is what management hopes for so the issues can be swept under the rug. Are we supposed to just sit by and say "Well, they made a mess of everything and they don't seem to listen or care, oh well, at least they have a lot of expansions I can buy".

We wait sometimes years for a fix and guess what, we don't see them because you guys say "Well, no one has been asking for it according to our metrics and feedback" yet when someone keeps that feedback in view so new users can also see what things are really like it is "oh, that is just typical complaining from him again…". I have stated several times I know I am harping on, and will be more than happy to cease when I see just ONE of the issues people have raised with KK over the last 2+ years actually addressed properly that isn't just OS compatibility problems. Sitting by and waiting patiently for years hasn't worked, this angle at least gets some kind of attention, be it negative, any attention on the matter is better than nothing.

Maybe listen to users and take some feedback seriously. I am not the only one who has an issue with "a few changes" but I am one of the few dedicated enough to keep bringing it up so new users can be aware of some of the issues they may not have been. I get no feedback from official channels, PMs to Chris go unanswered completely. Starts to sour ones taste after some time..

Now I simply pointed out the likely reasons for the new download area since as you have said yourself it has been asked for YEARS by users but has now been implemented because all the magical fixes currently aside, Native Access has been a problem for many since V1 for 10 years now and is still dragging along to be fixed and with all the issues we seem to be having with compatibility between versions of Kontakt let alone the untested releases of KK screwing with people's actual livelihoods (some people are still professionals out here) it is inefficient for your mods to be sending gdrive links personally to people for previous versions of software constantly wo now it makes sense to put effort in, not because it was convenient for users, but now it costs staff too much time. My tone is one of utter frustration where I was once a very loyal and happy customer, there are many like me, that I am sure, however many have simply walked away, I continue to work to offer support on my end to users even tho I no longer actually use KK myself, have removed it from my projects now and my Maschine sits in a draw, I am not an active user these days, just one who maintains support for those that are.

Don't take anything personal Jeremy, you are a champ and I have nothing but respect for what you do here, it's a hard job dealing with frustrated but passionate users like me and you are one of the best and most knowledgeable here, but you do suffer a little bit from Moderator fever just because you are here so much. You see my name and roll your eyes but I would like to also play the statistic game, check my account and activity history and you would see I do not post as negative or as constant as you think and do also balance out with actual helpful input tho I have dialled that right back these days. Even if I have posted 100 negative comments, that would be less than 4% overall negativity based on my activity so not sure it is fair to single me out.

I think that a very good, if perhaps temporary, solution would be to add direct links to all products that the user has on the page https://www.native-instruments.com/en/account/downloads/. Do this, and many, including me, will thank you. And then you can look for a permanent solution to this problem.

That is already happening - except for Expansions.

For reasons yet determined - these do not appear for download in our accounts.

But if you had read the topic or at least looked at the picture above, you would have noticed that I am interested in exactly 48 extensions, none of which are there. So, bypass. This is not a solution to my problem.
Although everything can be solved very, very simply. NI has installation files for all these extensions. NI has enough space on its servers to host all these installers. Moreover, these installers are already there, otherwise where would NA get them from. But for some reason they do not want to add links to new products to the direct downloads page. I wrote to support about this. Support has not responded yet.

But if you had read the forum or at least looked at the topics regarding the new direct downloads area, you would have noticed that it's a new feature which NI have stated is not fully implemented yet.

BTW the products I assume you're referring to are called expansions, not extensions.

I am communicating through a translator. But you understood me anyway ).
Now to the essence of the question: they have all the necessary files, they have servers. They have programmers. One person can place all these products within one, maximum two days. If only they had the desire. But apparently they have no desire to place the latest products on this page. And you can write whatever you want.

If you had read this thread - and as @PK The DJ alluded to - you are simply not reading what is being posted.

This "new" downloads area is VERY new - so new in fact - many of us just found out about it in the last 72 hours or so. So new - that you should have read that the "expansions" are not there - yet. But will be.

I know this doesn't solve your issues - but your issue will be solved.

And - you have no idea whatsoever how many programmers it will take or the time it will take to ensure that hundreds of thousands of users worldwide - will get their exact correct listing of Expansions from each unique user's product listed in that "new" download area.

Just a guess - but it won't be in two days - that is for certain.

You need to dial down the angularity and start accepting the fact that your install has issues and it will take time to find out what is going on over there.

I installed Steinberg Cubase and Steinberg Absolute. I installed Ableton Live. I installed Bitwig Studio. I installed Arturia V Collection last version. I installed many other software. And everything installed fine. And then it turns out that it's me who has issues...
