Komplete Audio 1 direct monitor distorted audio

Hi,

i'm getting distorted sound via headphones when using direct monitoring.

Strangely, there's no distortion in recorded audio, or monitoring via DAW.

The only way to get normal sound is setting very low gain - direct monitoring sound is ok, but the signal is far too low for recording, which makes the direct monitor feature unusable.

Problem occurs on either XLR and Jack inputs.

What do you guys think?

    Have you tried to move this knob here?

    Is it still distorted if you put it to 100% input?

    Thanks for the reply.

    Yes, this knob does not affect the sound color. In fact this is the only way of using Direct Monitor without distortion - 100% input and 80%+ headphone volume.

    Host sound is ok, without any issues.

    Max input level without distortion in Direct Monitor is 1st dot on level indicator. Above that level, signal in Direct monitor is distorted (or overdriven).

    Seems like a hardware issue :(
