Ok then you use it in midi mode I guess, I forgot to mention if you install the driver's the device must be disconnected. Maybe that's the reason it doesn't work in NHL mode.

It should give the "Kontrol X1" option for the In-Port. The Out-Port should then be assigned automatically.

I still think the MK1 is the best X1. Although the MK3 might tempt me at some point… Is it fully re-mappable yet???

What do you mean by 'fully'? The screen output can't be mapped via tsi, that i know.

If you have the MK1 and it's working for you, no need for a MK3.

Agreed. I like to spend my time mixing, not mapping. And if I got the MK3 before my MK1 dies, then I'd have a LOT of custom mapping/remapping to do! 😉

Problem, is, I really like mapping. I like the problem solving elements of it, and I like finding ways to do things more efficiently in Traktor, but like I said - it's a hell of a distraction from actually mixing! 😂

Note that importing the X1 Mk3 TSI might crash the CMDR app. Indeed you would need to remap it from scratch or have someone who love mappings to help you with that.

Out of the regular practicing one could do each day to get better and learn a new tracks, testing new mappings while mixing is being more productive than just mixing tracks and help track bugs faster.

I find the MKII the worst. I finally treated myself to an MKIII because I was bored. I'm torn, but I'd still prefer the X1MKI. I haven't quite warmed to the new build quality and form factor yet. The new one has other advantages, though. I'll probably stick with the X1MKI and take this outside with me.

By the way: Does anyone else with an X1MKIII feel like the encoders for browsing and looping are ******? They're so loose, and I can't work with them precisely when things get a bit hectic.
