The 6 voice limitation is tricky, unnecessarily
I tried to make some supersaw patches recently, similar to the crispy brightness that synths with more voices have (Serum, Sylenth1) but it just doesn't have the tools. You can get darn close though. Its definitely one of the reasons why the synth fell out of popularity

I agree that MX isn't the best synth for those kinda sounds. Not sure if it's just the 6 voice unison limit though. There are other synths which have loads of unison voices, yet also fall short on supersaw sounds. Some synths simply don't sound good with them.

I want a synth that can make sounds other synths can't - I don't care if it can't make a sound that is common and overused already and that many synths can do much better

That's what makes Massive X actually so promising, the patches I get out of this thing are so unique.
Hoping they can work on it more still. Don't want this to just be my SFX synth.0 -
If it's just your SFX synth you're doing something wrong ;)
I would like to thank NI and the development team of Massive X. In my opinion it is the best sounding synth next to DIVA with which almost one hundred percent analog sounds are possible; I have realized this in my sound packs and also explained in my Massive X book. The filters and audio effects are world class and no other current soft synth comes close. I also can't understand why some users have a problem with the GUI; everything is well thought out in terms of color and concept, logical and easy to learn even for beginners. Unlimited possibilities. Incidentally, I can do without animations and gimmicks, you don't need them to be able to program better.
Besides, I find the comparison to other softsynths inappropriate; if you like another product better, take that one! And when a development team decides to bring something new to the market, they certainly think about how to differentiate themselves from other products.
I would like NI to fix a few known bugs, make it possible to save individual sections (Performers etc.) and organize user presets in a meaningful way (also in Komplete Kontrol). Wavetable import for the OSCs would be fine. However, the WT OSCs certainly have no limits in terms of sound.

Exactly. 👍

I’ll leave the synthesis discussions to you, guys 😉
All I want is to be able to use arrows to select patches and to load selected patch with enter/return…
