How to get a refund for purchasing something that doesnt work on Maschine+

I bought a bundle which I can now see is not expansions, but rather is a sample pack which I can't use on my maschine +.

I have not installed, downloaded or registered.

I can't seem to contact any human to find out how to get a refund…support function is AI bot only, and the telephone here in the UK is constantly dead.

Any suggestions?

There is no support other than initiated through the web-interface (no phone support and support can not get initiated by writing an email address).

    Please contact N.I. Support (all)

In case that you need guidance contacting support : How to contact NI Support and How to get in touch with our Customer Care

What exactly did you buy? FYI Maschine expansions are sample packs. They're configured with presets/demos to load in Maschine, but the actual sounds are (mainly) samples.

Therefore, you CAN use whatever it is you've bought - if it is sample packs. It may require slighty more effort to install and set up (copy across, assign sounds to pads etc) but it's possible.

If you bought the bundle from the NI site then you have registered it. Purchasing requires an account, and once you make the purchase, the serial gets registered to your account so that when you log in to Native Access your purchase is shown.

    Thanks…I bought this:

Samples - Drift Theory, Samples - Faded Reels, Samples - Soul Magic, Samples - Burnt Hues, Samples - Hazy Days

I had previously bought some other ones but they were expansions rather than samples, and worked fine, with everything really easy to find.

Sounds like a refund is going to be pretty much impossible then. OK I will watch some videos and try to see how to bring them across. I am new to Maschine and the whole environment so sorry if I am sounding like a complete noob!

TBH I've never bought one of those packs, so I don't know exactly what's included - but if it is literally just the samples (no kits or projects) then it might be easiest to create some kits/projects using Maschine software first, then copy them across to the SD card on the M+

As PK says, the sample packs are stripped down versions of the full Maschine expansions that are intended for use outside Maschine. If you bought the wrong products and you intended to buy the expansions it's worth contacting support and seeing what they can do for you. Keep telling the support bot that you want to talk to an agent, hopefully you'll get a human at some point! The support page is here - https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us
