Sample increase level
Hi Ni,
In Maschine sample edit is there a way to increase a sample by increments rather than just a 100% normalise and nothing in between? as sometimes I just want a 20% boost to a sample

Does this make it more obvious?

The picture with the arrow was very useful.
The attitude not so much

You can in the increase the gain in the sampler zone

Many thanks but that looks to be in Kontakt and I was trying to work it out in Maschine software as there is only [ Normalise ] and no way to boost or decrease a sample level +/- in increments?

Do you really want to tell me that you don’t see why people see you as arrogant?

The way I see it, the poster has come on the forum and asked a basic question which can be found in the manual. He's then been handed the answer on a plate, yet he's dismissed that (presumably hasn't even checked) and asked again.
IMO the picture with the arrow was necessary.

Yes I’m new to it all and still learning, I thought it was ok to ask questions on the forum?

Yes of course you can ask questions, but if you're new (and to avoid asking the obvious) I'd suggest you start by reading the manual, and maybe watch some of the How To Use Everything videos from Boris.

well thank you for the short sharp lesson. And until I become an expert I will not be posting on here again, it’s supposed to be an open community that helps everyone, you could have easily ignored the post if it was beneath you as you are at ‘genius’ level but you decided to come on down from on high and teach me a lesson that I wouldn’t forget, to make yourself more important on the forum by being a bully!

Actually what I comprehended was that maybe Maxhombre didn't understand the relation to 'Gain'.
Don't worry. PK The DJ means well even though he maybe sometimes gets annoyed.
With respect to all of this then sometimes the problem is that if you do not know a lot then it can be hard to define what it is that you do not actually understand. And a lot worse is that if you do not know that much then it also becomes very difficult to determine if it is the software interface that is the hindrance or if some software is poorly made and un-intuitive or if there is a bug.
You can learn a lot though by reading the manuals and studying the interface and by trying to find out what it's all for. On the other hand then both software has become very advanced and also sometimes then both those that makes the software as well as those that knows and use the software have a really hard time understanding how it is to be a 'noob' that is new to an interface. Often then a lot in an interface that is extremely simple once you have spotted how it works can be rather difficult to understand before you know how it actually works. It's for the same reason that I personally think that there ought to be 'how to guides' or link to same.
Anyway , please do not let this slight not even a real 'scuffle' here discourage you from participating here or from posting questions.
