4 deck controll with X1MK3
Hi NI Team! I am very very interested in buying the X1MK3 but first need to know whether I can use it for 4 decks - various online reviews mention the possibility with the X1 (eg youtube vid "Warum ich diese Kombi liebe! Traktor Z1 MK2 & X1 MK3") but I dont see it discussed or brought forward in any of NI product descriptions - which is odd since this would be a main product feature. Can you confirm that X1mk3 actually can be set for 4 deck control, how to set it that way (not sure how well the community performance mods that are being mentioned work) and any possible limitations or draw-backs when setting the device for 4 decks? It's possible, but cumbersome out of the box. You need to go back to setup mode by reloading the mapping file or pulling the usb cable to switch deck combos.
Check out the mod in my signature for a customized qml mod of the X1MK3. It has lots of optional features (accessible in setup mode) for a comfortable way to switch deck combos and more.
