Komplete kontrol A 49

Can anyone confirm the difference between the komplete kontrol A 49 package costing £179 from the Native instruments web site and the "same" package from, say PMT for £149. I assume their is some variation with the accompanied software as the Native instruments package states full version yet the PMT and other dealers doesn't seem to state this.

Thanks in advance

From my experience, nothing changes when buying directly from NI or from retailers.

Every bundled product should be included (it is dependent from the serial registration, not from where you bought it).

Even when there are special offers (with more stuff included),everything will be included (it happened in the past with some “gifts” that were not reported by retailers, but, as you are doing now, I asked confirmation to NI and the answer was “it doesn’t matter where you buy it. You just have to register things before the offers expires”).

About “why” retailers can often afford to make better prices… that is something I still struggle to understand. Take the case of M+, that is sold EVERYWHERE cheaper (sometimes WAY more cheaper) than on NI shop.

Some say that this is how economy work…but I’m still from the old generation (buying directly from manufacturer always costed less, since some costs (like the resellers gain) are avoided).

But this is how it is. It happens often that retailers have better prices

    Hi LostinFondation

Thanks for you reply. As you say it is a little strange.

Thanks again. I am almost ready to purchase the A49 package as it looks right up my street.

I look forward to making a lot of noise with it.
