Guitar Rig 6 - Controls with multiple states acting binary in Cubase 14

I recently updated to Cubase 14 and Guitar Rig 6 and I'm running into a strange issue where certain component controls in Guitar Rig 6 are behaving as if they only have two states when they should have more than that. For example, Raum will only let me select between Cosmic or Grounded. Or Choral will only toggle between Synth and Universal.
Digging deeper, I found the automation lanes assigned to these controls (even though they have nothing programmed) and they are acting like on/off lanes instead of allowing the full set of options. Right-clicking the component and selecting Disable Automation allows all choices to be available again.
Can anyone point me to a fix for this that doesn't require me to turn off automation capabilities for every component?

Hello,
i only know this behaviour if you use some relative knobs with absolute midi knobs - i also own both of the products and will have a look later, maybe i van reproduce it and find a solution.

Thanks, I'm curious to see if this is something weird with my new setup or if it's a common issue.
Also just discovered that hitting the Constrain Delay Compensation button in the lower left corner of Cubase makes Guitar Rig's controls act normally too.0 -
On my computer everything works like you would expect it so far, can you maybe tell me an example of a knob or multi switch, that I can try to replicate it again.

The two instances that I have found that I can recreate reliably are Raum will only let me select between Cosmic or Grounded and Choral will only toggle between Synth and Universal.
There's a youtube link in my original post showing it happening too.
Thanks for checking.

I can reproduce the issue, it seems that cubase adds those parameters as switch parameters with just two states, maybe a wrong flag with that parameter within guitar rig so cubase gets the wrong information about that parameter. As you found out, you can disable automation for the parameters and then it works, if you then use a macro within guitar rig, you can still automate that parameters but of course that´s just a workaround. With guitar rig 7 everything works like expected but it has to work with gr6 too of course.

Glad to hear you were able to reproduce it and that it's fixed in 7. I'm not ready to upgrade to that at the moment.
How do we get the Guitar Rig team made aware of this, assuming they are still supporting 6?

I will try to forward it to the native guys
