unknown file format

Hi all

I have a downloaded file in Apple Music and

when I add this to a playlist and refresh I tunes in Traktor, the file appears, but when I drag it onto a deck it says unknown format! any ideas?

Maybe you should just convert the file to Wav ?

Also quote : It is possible with music that you bought from the iTunes Store. However music that you lease with an Apple Music subscription cannot be converted or copied to a non-Apple device.

In short then I don't know , maybe ask Apple help if you can convert the file for your use in Traktor ?

Picture resolution is too low to read clearly, but looks like the file might be m4p which is a DRM copy protected format.

I believe there's an Apple setting that lets you select between high resolution downloads (which are protected) and standard resolution (which are not protected).
