All my vst3s are in the same folder.

Every vst3 shows up in Ableton EXCEPT Massive

Native Access has full full disk access

I've scaned and rescanned

I've followed the steps here:

https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/22488/massive-vst-not-showing-up-in-ableton-11

I'm on an M4. my previous computer was m2 and I had everything working on their fine.

Have you done an alt/option rescan?

If that hasn't worked try removing the Massive VST3 from the VST3 folder, then doing a rescan, then put it back and do an alt/option rescan

same problem here, im on M3…updated massive to 1.7 and now Ableton can´t find it, but i can open it in Native Kontrol, and in Bitwig it shows up too. Tried everything that worked in the past with different vst´s, renamed it…put it off the vst 3 folder and rescanned it, put it back in and scanned, but nothing…

before the update it showed up

    Thank You for this!

Just doing deep scan was not useful. Your solution of rescanning without Massive solved it. After that I did not even have to do the deep scan. Massive just showed up after putting it back to Vst3 folder and starting Live.

Same here and so many problems with installing of massiveX. First it was maschine software/komplete Kontroll and so on, after new re-reinstall. PC and new laptop.

At that moment, one year ago maybe, NI decided to make new Instant access and all that new stuff., and the problems started.

first thought was 29Euros for update its ok for me, but now one year later. NatAcc is realy broken, maybe its only the last update. (u wanna force the people o buy it?)

The most installed stuff which i tested till here is working except MassiveX.

This nonsense problems, stealing me a lot of time which is realy wasted, no one can give it back to me.

The first installation was working, on my old PC.

Last week bought a Laptop (its arm64(asus vivobook s), i know the problems), and TRYED to install all that stuff. Result u know…

im working five days on it. and now im feeling like it is my first contact with a pc/Laptop.

The reinstall on PC wasnt problem free too.

More i dont wanna say atm, cause im F****** ANGRY.

I was totaly glad with ur products.

You know that Massive-X needs a AVX architecture CPU, right?
Did you check if the CPU of your laptop supports this, before you buy it?

And by the way, this thread is about Massive (the old one), not Massive-X.

I didnt bought massive X, got it for free btw., because the marriage between akai and native.

Ive midi mix and the mpk mini.

Massive the first, ive it too, cause im owner of maschine mikro.

I heard about the cpu, ty. But there was many problems with native access, no words about that.

And U noticed that missing "x", but other things u missed?

The thread: massive VST3 dont show up, SAME problem, just google... u will find "komplett kontroll" dont show up. And so on.

So, help or instruct and teaching?

I can help instruct. ALL VST3 plugins on Windows go here (AND only here):

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

Check this location and ensure you see the MassiveX.vst3 plugin file.

If you do not see this file - IN this folder - it is not installed correctly. If you have messed with/altered or moved anything with regards to the folder above - you will have problems.

Then - ensure whatever DAW you are using - scans this folder for plugins.

    This is not difficult.
