maschine mikro m3 not working no mattter what i do

in Maschine

i want to use maschine mikro 3 , every time i plug it into my macbook it flashes for one second and then nothing. It doesnnt come up with anything . I have maschine 2 installed. im using mac os 10.13 high sierra . I have used 4 different usbs and all of them have the same result.It doesnt recognise the hardware in maschine 2 sttand alone. What am i doing wrong? Please help

    Are you referring to 4 cables or 4 ports ?

    If referring to ports then try using another short cable that you know is OK , also have the computer connected to mains/charger to make sure that computer has enough power. Else try same using another computer.

    Sorry i meant 4 different cables. Just bought a fresh one today and it still didnt work.

    my Mac recognises tthe conntroller butt itts actually not connecting

    You don't need to be looking at the audio interface apps, as the Maschine Mikro doesn't have an audio interface built in like the Maschine MK3.

    What happens when you start Maschine with the Mikro connected?
