Replacement Knobs for S49

I recently got an S49 keyboard. I have a keyboard slider tray under my desk that I used for previous keyboard, but the knobs on the s49 block it from sliding all the way in. Does anybody know how I could get replacement knobs that aren't as high? I measured and I'd need them to be no higher than 1/4 inch. Thank you!

    That would probably break the keyboard; it relies on, and has been calibrated for, the capacitive touch of those particular knobs.

    Thanks for the response. I checked and it does seem like the knobs can come off. To be honest I haven't used the knobs as I think they mostly work with adjusting macros. So you're saying if I remove those knobs the keyboard won't work?
