Is there a way to record midi from the new Patterns tool in Kontakt 8.2?

Is there a way to record midi from the new Patterns tool in Kontakt 8.2? With the Chords and Phrases tools there is this star shaped drag to DAW button. Can't find anything like that in the Patterns tool. Or is there any other way. I use Logic Pro and recording with internal MIDI in does not work for any of the Kontakt tools.

    I think I've already answered that in another post. There is no drag and drop feature for the patterns, compared to the other tools, because the result depends highly on the input notes.

    Unfortunately the recording of the MIDI out can have inconsistent behaviour at the moment.

    Hello,

    you can but unfortunately those tools send no note off signal, a known kontakt issue as far as i know with script generated notes. So you would record very long notes only ending if you stop the recording - unusable.

    It's kind of lazy for a company as big as native to release a new tool with no manual or any support for it. I genuinely don't understand why they would do that besides intentionally trying to frustrate their customers

    The kontakt manual has already been updated with a section about the new Patterns tool.

    Please, dear NI, change that behaviour of the Pattern tools - let them send Note off!

    OR - if this isn't possible yet: Add the Pattern tools to Maschine & Komplete Kontrol.

    and I'm not sure what you mean by "any support for it"? I'm confused.

    Hi Jeremy - it would be good if "patterns" and "phrases" could do this natively ;)

    (just one less step to set up)
