Traktor Pro opening off screen and can't get it back

Sometimes (can't seem to recreate this when I want to, just happens from time to time) Traktor Pro 2 opens off screen. It's clearly running, and it shown in the taskbar of Windows 11 (same for my Windows 10 machine.)

I have a multiple monitor setup. However, when I disconnect that, go to a gig, and turn on the computer with only the laptop screen, and then start Traktor, this happens from time to time.

When I click on the Traktor icon in the taskbar, I can see the open Traktor windows is located to the right of the screen, but I can't then can't figure out how to get it back onto the laptop screen.

Any ideas? I've already tried shortcuts like, "Win + Short + Arrow"

Alt + Shift + mouse right-click (in the taskbar icon)

Then click "Move" and use the arrows on your keyboard.

…if you prefer to not have to do this every time, then… make sure that windows & apps are on the default screen, before you close them… 😊

OK, thanks for the idea of using "Move". I'll try it the next time the Traktor window is off the screen. I have a feeling it will work.

Does the Windows shortcut Shift + Win + Arrow maybe work? That is how I move windows arounds on my multi monitor setup.

Yep. it is always works, with any program!

However, there is one exception: It does not work when a program is fully maximized or in full-screen mode. For a simple reason: On those modes, the program occupy the entire screen, so there is "nowhere to be moved". 😊

    Not in this case.

To be precise, it is actually WIN + Shift + Arrow (Win must pushed first).

But for this combination to work you must have the "Snap windows" setting enabled (at Settings > System > Multitasking), otherwise it does nothing.

Yet, even with the above setting enable, this key combination option it never works in similar cases!

It was very annoying and it took me a long time to discover why.

The above is working only in multi monitor setups!

It does not work in a single monitor.

So, it has no use for our member, since his problem appears when he is in a single screen, on his laptop. 🙂

Sunborn mentioned, "However, there is one exception: It does not work when a program is fully maximized or in full-screen mode. For a simple reason: On those modes, the program occupy the entire screen, so there is "nowhere to be moved". 😊"

So, what is the solution is this case? I'm guessing it's to first chose, "Restore" to "un-maximize" the window, and then choose, "Move."
