Please, ask me how to make a quick scroll back of a music track on Kontrol S3?

    no,

    That's not what I meant.

I mean, when you turn the jog in the opposite direction, the music quickly sounds in the opposite direction (fast reverse playback).

I think the OP meant "rewind" as the same of "backspin", cant do it on my S3 too. Looking forward for answers.

    Check this out:

    SCRATCHMOD

It's been a while. I hope you can make something out of it. My head is full of other projects at the moment. You could ask @Quade about it, since he is using an S3 as well.

Thanks a lot Sûl!! Will try it as soon as i get home, btw, im new to the mapping community, how do i import the qml file into my traktor pro 4? will it ovewrite the mapping im currently working on the controller? (mine changes the deck C to control FX parameters) Or it only interacts with the scratch parts?

Hope to soon share with the community my mapping project for the S3, and good luck with your project too!

This is the direct link to ScratchMod5 (a few pages of discussion later in the thread).

    • First make a safety copy of the whole qml folder as a backup.
    • Second extract the archive. It contains a file called 'S3Deck.qml'. Find the original (in /qml/CSI/S3) and replace it with the mod file.
    • Start Traktor.

The modified qml file only changes the behaviour of the Jogwheel, the Jogwheel LED's (turning, green when looping i think) and the PLAY states. Everything else is the same so your tsi overmapping should be fine.

FLUX and scratching don't work together anymore, as the qml mod temporarily sets PLAY state to OFF and reengages it after a delay.

    Tell us how it went.

If the spin duration is too long or too short, there is a number in the qml file that can be adjusted to change it.
