bumping this because I can't figure it out either. it kind of works if I save the Combined Preset as a Multi, but then it doesn't show up in the Library Browser only until after I load it manually via File - Load. it's a little bizarre

The default location for user multis is '/Users/username/Documents/Native Instruments/User Content/Kontakt 8/Multis' (that's on Mac but I presume the Windows one is similar)

Format is .nkm - Go to file menu and save multi as (it is a bit annoying that it defaults to where the original file is loaded from rather than the user multi location so you'll probably need to browse to that)

Right, but what I don't understand is why the Browser only properly displays the Kontakt Multis folder after loading one manually. Here's a short video example of what I mean. I don't know why the "Kontakt Multis" folder only displays in the smaller sub-browser after opening.

It didn't do that for me, I just saved one in the user location and made sure I was in the User section in the browser

Oh my gosh, I totally forgot to click the User icon this whole time. Thank you for your patience 😅

Actually now I'm having problems. Made a few test patches using Kontakt library and Porphyra patches, stacking them or using a tool and those show fine but I just made 2 patches with Conflux and a tool, saved them in the same location and I can't locate them anywhere in the browser. They load fine if I load them through the file menu so I know they saved correctly but they don't show in the browser, not under the tools or Conflux.

So I do think there are kinks to be ironed out.
