Session Percussionist - mixing time signatures
Hey,
I'm trying to add some percussion to a song that has a mix of 4/4 and 2/4 bars. However, after a 2/4 bar, I can't get Session Percussionist to start a 4/4 bar at the start of the bar - instead it comes in half way through (i.e., beat 3). Is there any way to send a 'reset' signal?
I'm using Ableton Live 11 Suite. I've added the time signature changes into Ableton, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Many thanks for your help!

Ableton has some known anomalies with certain timing structures. Try replacing the 4/4 and 2/4 bars with a single 6/4 bar. Specifically NOT a 6/8 bar because that doubles the tempo.

Thanks for the help, but it didn't work unfortunately - still end up with it starting on beat 3.
I've also tried editing the beat grid to have less than 2 bars. If I do a pattern that starts at 1.3 and ends at 2.2, it does manage to transition once, but if I try to go back, it just misses out 2 whole bars.
I've tried editing the clips in Ableton as well with the time signature changes, but I can't see anything else I'm missing.

I have exactly the same problem in Studio One 7. Session Guitarist had the "start on key" option, but Session Percussionist simply doesn't have it.
