Is AET affected by the volume of samples?
Hello,
I'm trying to use AET in kontakt, and here's my confusion.
I have sample 1 and sample 2 that are different in timbre, and want to morph between them through AET. In these 2 cases:
case 1: sample 1 and sample 2 are normalized to the same volume level.
case 2: sample 1 is significantly louder than sample 2.
Will the morphed sounds have different timbre in these 2 cases?

AET is looking into spectral fingerprint of a sound (using FFT), so only relative volumes between different frequencies matter, not the actual volume of the sample. At least this is what makes sense to me logically and intuitively. Feel free to try different cases out and let us know what you find :)

Thanks! I just tested and it's as you said, AET is not dependent on the overall volume of samples.
