Can't automate Omnisphere in Komplete Kontrol (Logic Pro X)

Hi All

For some time, I have not been able to automate Omnisphere when I open it in Komplete Kontrol (it used to work fine in the past).

In Omnisphere, you have to click on the controller you want to automate and press "enable host automation" and then it should appear in the list with controllers to automate (see print screen in annex). But it does not…

Anyone who can help me? Thanks in advance!

Should be all that is needed, then learn to a parameter slot in KK.

If you want full browsing and to save time, pre-mapped controls there is also this libarry option available:

No it's nothing to do with that. Logic only see's automation for the plugin host (Komplete Kontrol) not the plugin that is loaded into KK. So for you to be able to automate Omnisphere, or any plugin, when loaded into KK, you need to have first mapped its params to KK's controls. For Omnisphere this is pretty easy as Freelancesoundlabs have provided pre mapped NKS patches for the Omnisphere factory patches, Keyscape etc as well as the vast majority of third party Omnisphere patches. If you just want the control and don't want to buy add-on banks just use the free Freelance demo patches - or make your own mapping and use that.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm afraid though that the issue is caused because in KK you can only load VST(3) plugins (as far as I'm aware of). Logic only supports AU plugins and if u put KK instances with VST plugins, it can cause issues.

If you would know a way to work around that I will be glad to hear about it.
