Should the Z1 Filter/FX button turn orange? ... Mine doesn't ...
According to the manual and a few videos I've seen, I should be able to turn the Filter / FX button orange by following these instructions…
But as you can see, when the button is pressed, it dims rather than turns orange.
The photo shows the button in opposite states for contrast.
Is this a faulty unit, or am I missing a setting somewhere?
I'm running Traktor Pro 4.0.2.3 on Mac M2 silicon, and Z1 is up to date with the latest firmware (16 - from Device Updater).

Yes.
The 'FX Mode' works only in Traktor DJ.

Another note, the Mode button doesn't seem to make any difference to the filter. Pressing the On button with or without the Mode button being illuminated switches the filter on and off. i.e. The Mode button makes no difference.
The only thing the Mode button seems to do is start or pause a track when I hold it down and press Cue A or B.

Those are the instructions for using the Z1 on Traktor DJ on an iOS device.

The manual says: 'Traktor DJ', it doesn't say 'Traktor Pro'. Different software.
