Ampeg Reverberocket 212 - Does one exists?

Member Posts: 4 Member

Note sure if this is this is right place to ask this question but I can't be the only person to have wondered why there is no virtual version of the Ampeg Reverberrocket 212 right? I'm hoping I just haven't dug deep enough to find it or at least something that is a close clone of it. I love this amp so much which is the reason its my main amp I use when I gig and rehearse but I would love to have the capability of having it on Guitar Rig 6 so I can write etc.

Someone a few years ago was nice enough to send me the suggestion of "Jazz amp + the matched cabinet (jazz, chigago, tweet,....) with the spring verb unit " but it didnt really hit correctly sonically.

Example of a Guitarist who uses this is the Lead Guitarist Matthew Followill from Kings of Leon. That being said I have noticed that for the last few years hes switched to Matchless DC-30 2x12 Combo Amp so that might also be a comparable solution if a emulator exists for that?

Any any help or advice be much appreciated and thanks for reading!

    hi,

I think the Matchless DC-30 is in the old line 6 pod farm ( I still use it a lot to be honest)I suspect that the newer Helix also has it. In case you didn’t know the DC-30 is bases on the Vox AC-30. I assume this amp is in guitar rig since its a classic sound. Maybe you can a get a sound to your liking using one of those.

I dont know the ampeg amp, Im familiar with their bass Amps but never really heard one of their guitar amps.

    Hope this helps.
